Instant Basement Shower Installation

Some things are easier than others, for instance, yesterday, with the help of only a sawz-all, Ray took a shower in his basement. Here's how:

Start by ripping rotten wood from future kitchen floor:

Then go into the basement and accidentally cut the live water pipe to the second floor; carefully missing the 1st floor water pipe that has been shut off:

Done.

For extra credit, fix the mistake:

And, hell, why'll you're at it, spend all day, thinking you're a plumber, and attempt to install a hose faucet.

Then, rinse and repeat: Maybe this time cut the right pipe.

Once more unto the ink, dear friends, once more

More RE-designing (once again, I think this is it! wonder what ray thinks?)

Changes: Move the half bath and the bedroom doors, and the w/d. Change the walk through along the outside wall between the kitchen and the dining room to a half wall with large 4.5 x 4.5 open window with ledge.

The house that Jack supported

So as we enter March, falling slightly behind the original schedule due mainly to the large increase in unanticipated work - replacing unknown rotten wood - the workers (Ray, Dave, Mike) had to borrow Jacks from Justin to temparirly lift the house.

And then replace with new pressure treated.

New Beams!!!
