Two weeks ago, Ray was saying, "I think I'm nearing the end of the gutting process." Today he's saying, "I think I'm nearing the end of the gutting process."
Someone noticed that there were no pictures of the owner on this blog, so, now there are. OK?
Look, a once believed to be extinct yellow-bellied-ceiling.
It turns out that the insulation is the only thing hold up the kitchen walls.
OK, here's another. God, you'd think he owned the place.
Please come visit; Ray needs some help taking out the trash.

With Friends like these... who needs subcontractors?
What better to do on the first full weekend of the year, but gut a first floor. So Ray invited over some friends to a demolishion party.
Jordan, gitt'n 'r dun!
Jordan hammers out the ceiling in the kitchen while Kristin looks for David's hammer. Or is that David's hammer in Jordan's hand? A mystery begins? Or a mystery solved?
Kristin chips away my rather nice two tone paint job. Ray better match that in the re-painting.
Look, David finds a door behind the wall (and an Almanac from 1938). Oh, and yes that is terminte damage on a main support. Opps.
When making out on the job site, always wear protection.
Besides peeping, has Ray done anything yet today? We don't seem to photographic evidence that he's even lifted a crowbar.
Oh, no, Galin ruins his 10-miler shirt.
Sure the air is safe. If not, why would the Blue Ridge Poison Control Educator be breating it all day long. (Look at the wonderful, afternoon light.)
I'm not sure, but I think Tara has cut off Galin's head and shoveled it into the basket. Looks like they're almost finished, but, they've only just begun.
A dusty look from my back room to my front. Will Ray rebuild the gutted walls?
